ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Due to the challenging nature of this mountain ultramarathon event, all participants must show proof of good health requirements as well as meet the eligibility requirements.

CHECK-IN LOCATION
The check-in place for the Huanglong Extreme Endurance Race will be at Songzhou Plaza, Songpan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China.
AIRPORT
All flights will be from the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU).
Transportation
- High-speed Train [Recommended]: Take the high-speed train from Chengdu to Qingyun Station, then transfer to the official shuttle bus to reach Songpan. Please stay tuned for further information on bus ticket sales from “DeepRace Events” and the official website; the total journey takes approximately 2 hours.
- Self-Drive: Use navigation to search for “Songpan County Songzhou Square” or “Songpan Ancient City Wall.” It is approximately 325 kilometers from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, with a driving time of about 5-6 hours.
- Long-Distance Bus: Book tickets through the WeChat public account “Sichuan Bus Ticketing Network” from Chengdu Cha Dianzi Bus Station to Songpan.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Yes, you must be in good health and fit condition to participate in this challenging race. The organizing committee reserves the right to refuse entrants who are at risk of including those with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or other potential health risks.
Basic Requirement
- Born between July 5, 2006, and July 5, 1959 (18-65 years old).
- Provide a paper-based medical examination certificate from a hospital at the county level or above within one year during race check-in.
- No diseases unsuitable for sports and high-altitude activities, including congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, myocarditis, or other heart diseases; coronary artery disease; severe arrhythmias; hypertension or cerebrovascular diseases; excessively high or low blood sugar diabetes; asthma or other respiratory diseases; pregnancy; other high-altitude adaptation disorders; and recent recovery from COVID-19 infection.
- Participants must have the ability for self-support in mountainous areas before participating in the race. They should be capable of managing adverse weather conditions (night, wind, cold, fog, rain, or snow) caused by altitude without external assistance.
Qualification Review
- For the Songzhou Ancient City Run, participants without diseases unsuitable for sports and high-altitude activities can sign up; no other screening conditions are set.
- For the Dream Return to Songzhou MHSZ15km Group, participants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Completed a cross-country race of 8 kilometers or more from 2021 to 2024.
- Completed a 10-kilometer road race from 2021 to 2024.
- For the Tea Horse Ancient Road CMGD30km Group, participants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Completed a cross-country race of 20 kilometers or more from 2021 to 2024.
- Completed a half marathon from 2021 to 2024.
- For the MAMMUT Snow Treasure XBD50km Group, participants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Participated and completed a cross-country race of 40 kilometers or more in 2021-2024, with high-altitude (average altitude above 3000 meters) sports experience.
- Participated and completed a cross-country race of 60 kilometers or more in 2021-2024.
- For the MAMMUT Secret Exploration MJTS70km Group, participants must meet one of the following conditions:
- Participated and completed a cross-country race of 50 kilometers or more in 2021-2024, with high-altitude (average altitude above 3000 meters) sports experience.
- Participated and completed a cross-country race of 70 kilometers or more in 2021-2024.
- Outdoor enthusiasts who do not meet the above conditions can provide evidence of outdoor experiences, such as text, tracks, images, etc. (e.g., mountain climbing, skiing, high-altitude climbing, long-distance challenging hiking). Approval and interpretation rights belong to the organizing committee.

CHINA VISA
A China travel visa is required for foreigners to enter the country. We recommend you apply for a visa as soon as you have your flight itinerary. It is best to apply early rather than risk missing out. When applying to be sure to provide in advance your flight itinerary and hotel confirmations.
Almost all non-Chinese nationals will need a visa to enter China. There are different visa categories and you will most likely need a tourist visa (L). Please contact your local Chinese embassy or consulate for more information. The procedure normally requires submitting a visa application form, paying a fee and providing the Chinese authorities with an authorized flight itinerary from your travel agent. This process takes about one to two weeks. Note that your passport must be valid for at least six months after entry. For more information please visit the Chinese Embassy website.
CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
Check-in Time: Considering the altitude range of each race group’s track and to ensure sufficient acclimatization time for participants to high-altitude environments, this event requires check-in as follows:
- MAMMUT Secret Exploration MJTS70km Group and Dream Return to Songzhou MHSZ15km Group: Check-in before 18:00 on July 5th.
- MAMMUT Snow Treasure XBD50km Group and Tea Horse Ancient Road CMGD30km Group: Check-in before 17:00 on July 6th.
(Unless there is a special circumstance application, failure to check-in for material collection by the specified time will result in disqualification.)
- Participants must personally check-in to receive race items; proxy check-ins will not be accepted.
- Participants must sign a liability waiver on-site before collecting race items.
- During the collection of race items, participants should inspect and confirm the completeness of the items in the race package and the effectiveness of timing and tracking devices.
- If a participant is unable to collect items on-site, the race items will not be provided, leading to disqualification. Unclaimed race packages will be sent later, with shipping costs paid by the recipient through SF Express.
- Participants must bring the mandatory equipments (see Race Rules) when checking in.
