Route Introduction:

The course begins at the ancient city of Songzhou and climbs steadily along the historic plank road up to the Taping Mountain Battle Site, offering sweeping views of the old town below.

As runners continue forward, they’ll take in the charm of the ancient city and pass through Tibetan villages scattered across the valleys. In the distance, the sacred “Eastern Conch Mountain”—Mount Xuebaoding—rises into view. Along the way, the route passes through culturally rich and historically significant locations such as Shangniba Temple, Shuicaoba Village, Dazhai Village, and Sanchaba Village. The journey offers a profound experience of the region’s diverse cultural landscape, where Tibetan, Qiang, Hui, and Han traditions converge amid majestic mountain scenery.
